Hello! This is my story.
Sharon is a NYS licensed and board-certified behavior analyst. She received her BA in psychology from Stony Brook University and completed graduate work in Counseling Psychology (MS) from Pace University as well as received her MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her BCBA coursework from FIT. She has worked with a variety of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities as well as psychiatric/neurological concerns for over 18 years using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She worked as a consultant with numerous agencies, school districts, and home-based ABA programs in California and New York. Sharon has provided trainings to staff on a variety of topics in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as well as Strategies in Crisis Intervention and Prevention. She has also lead various parent training groups/workshops on such topics as behavior management and toilet training.
