One of the services we provide as an ABA therapy agency is school consultations in order to provide effective treatment for children on the spectrum. This service allows Autism Spectrum Disorder children to benefit from pairing ABA therapy at home with service and support at school as well. Schools that include ASD children in their student body can greatly benefit from applied behavior analysis.
For the parents that use us to treat their child, we can help to create Behavioral Intervention Plans to be implemented in the school setting. We help to identify potential behavior issues that teachers and faculty may encounter while a child is at school. Our BIP will also help to identify the possible cause of a behavior that school employees can then learn to identify and avoid. The plan will also outline possible strategies that can be used by school staff members to prevent or address certain behavior issues.
We are also able to provide training and resources for school teachers and staff at private or public schools. This may include establishing a best practices policy or individual BIP plans. Our staff can assist in training school faculty with classroom behavior support systems and teaching strategies.
Our staff includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) as well as certified supervisors. The goal we strive for is to offer complete treatment solutions for our families in all facets of their children’s life. We also seek to provide schools and school systems with scientifically based assessment or treatments for their ASD diagnosed students or faculty members.
Students can enjoy a healthier school experience with an implemented BIP, while teacher education and support will keep the classroom functioning with fewer behavioral problems. These services help to secure a consistent teaching strategy that is proven to improve ASD children’s learning and socialization skills.

How It Works?Research over the last 40+ years has shown the efficacy of ABA Therapy for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Our services begin with an intake consultation with a member of our administrative team. This is a time where families are able to discuss primary areas of concern and determine if ABC can meet their needs.
During this process our team will determine eligibility for services and navigate the insurance process for you. You will be asked to fill out an application, provide proof of medical diagnosis of Autism spectrum disorder, provide a prescription for ABA Therapy services, and provide proof of insurance.
The next step is to assess your child’s skill level, which is necessary to guide the development of an individualized Autism treatment plan. The assessment will be conducted by a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and will include the use of various assessment tools. Typically, assessments are conducted in the home setting. However, arrangements can be made to conduct the assessment in an area that best suits your family’s needs.
Through assessment in everyday situations such as home and school, behaviors are targeted and a detailed therapy plan is developed. Throughout the treatment, data is recorded and analyzed in order to show progress of meaningful change and to evaluate, modify, and refine treatment for the most socially significant outcomes.

We can’t be grateful enough I had an excellent experience with Achievement behavior services. The therapist assigned to my son went above and beyond. The BCBA would come every week to see how my son was progressing. They were always very punctual and professional. My child made excellent strides. They also do parent training nights that are very insightful and give good practical advice on various different subjects.
