BCBA Supervision
One of the services offered by ABC Achieve is BCBA supervision. Our supervising staff members hold BCBA or BCBA-D credentials, which is a requirement for supervised training of staff members delivering behavior and analytic services or who may be seeking BACB certification for themselves. The special training our supervisors have not only allowed us to provide the best possible services, it also allows us to continue to provide qualified personnel that is needed to keep up with this growing field of expertise.
BCBA supervision helps to ensure that we continue to provide updated methods for diagnosis and treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder children. Our goal is to continue to be recognized as a preeminent resource for residents in New York and New Jersey, including Queens.
The BCBA supervisors employed at ABC Achieve have met with all the criteria and training that is required for this position. This includes passing competency-based supervised training as well as continued education in the field. The hours they have spent to receive certification allows us to provide our staff with the best possible supervision when they are out in the field. This allows us to provide the best possible behavioral interventions for the families that use our services.
While ABA and BCBA are not considered autism specific in their focus, we provide the supervisory tools necessary to create treatment options for ASD patients. The supervision that is provided permits staff members to operate in the field with the assurance that team support is available when needed. Our supervisors and staff for a team with the families to create realistic treatments that will produce a better life for their children.
Potential clients or staff should feel free to contact one of our offices with any questions that they may have about our BCBA supervision services.

Research over the last 40+ years has shown the efficacy of ABA Therapy for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Intake
Our services begin with an intake consultation with a member of our administrative team. This is a time where families are able to discuss primary areas of concern and determine if ABC can meet their needs.

Insurance Eligibility
During this process our team will determine eligibility for services and navigate the insurance process for you. You will be asked to fill out an application, provide proof of medical diagnosis of Autism spectrum disorder, provide a prescription for ABA Therapy services, and provide proof of insurance.

Assessment
The next step is to assess your child’s skill level, which is necessary to guide the development of an individualized Autism treatment plan. The assessment will be conducted by a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and will include the use of various assessment tools. Typically, assessments are conducted in the home setting. However, arrangements can be made to conduct the assessment in an area that best suits your family’s needs.

Therapy
Through assessment in everyday situations such as home and school, behaviors are targeted and a detailed therapy plan is developed. Throughout the treatment, data is recorded and analyzed in order to show progress of meaningful change and to evaluate, modify, and refine treatment for the most socially significant outcomes.
